If you are planning a holiday to Vietnam then Autumn is the time when you can visit for the season brings along with it a lot of freshness and Nature is in its full bloom. I am writing all this out of my experience for I have really experienced the kind of convenience one could get when traveling in this season, leaving out the summer season. Not only are the summer vacations hot and sultry, the air tickets too are very expensive. So, let the peak tourist months go by and you can definitely have a great time.

  • Ha Long Bay: Topmost tourist attraction this place features lots of islands where each one of them is covered in thick jungle vegetation. The overall scenario reminds people of wonderful seascape of pillars. There are a few other islands too that are with enormous caves and are hollow, and a few other lakes which support fishermen.

  • Thien Mu Pagoda: Considered as the tallest of pagodas in Vietnam, and overlooking the Perfume River, the Thien Mu Pagoda is the unofficial symbol of Vietnam. One should not miss the construction that was prevalent in the 1600s which is clearly visible in this pagoda.

  • Hoan Kiem Lake: This Lake is considered as the most idyllic spots in Vietnam city. This place also attracts many locals as a leisure spot.

  • Hoi An: This is located on the coast of South China Sea and is a fishing village that has turned into a major tourist attraction. Also touted as the “Venice of Vietnam” the place is full of narrow canals that run through the town.

  • Phu Quoc: This Island is considered as the largest one in the whole of Vietnam. There are pristine tropical forests, great beaches and undamaged coral reefs in this island.

  • Sa Pa Terraces: This is a famous town in the northwest of Vietnam and rice terraces are very popular here.

  • Mui Ne: There has been great development during the past decade and a half and has become the cynosure for windsurfing and kite surfing. The famous sand dunes are a must visit and the vastness of the sandy expanses offers great panoramic views to the tourists more so during the sunset.

Mekong River, Cu Chi Tunnels and Nha Trang are some of the other attractions too which one cannot miss while on Vietnam holidays. Well, I am looking forward to visit these places along with my people during this Autumn for sure!
